How can you tell the difference between 100% Merino and the Merino/Cotton Blend?
All Merino/Cotton blends feature printed designs and 100% Merino comes in solid colours or stripes.
The weight of the 100% merino garments have a slightly heavier handfeel compared to our previous seasons' merino for baby.
How to care for your baby merino clothing at home?
Our Baby Merino Journey:
Our merino comes from Australia, our suppliers in China purchase the yarn from the markets and this is then shipped to them for working with.
Merino Wool is the world's finest softest wool, the natural benefits make it like no other fibre. The yarn is breathable & thermoregulating, moisture wicking and odour resistant. Superior in so many ways.
The ultrafine yarn comes from sustainable farming practices, it's a renewable resource, each year the sheep grow new fleece. The yarn has the scaling removed so that it's soft against babies' skin.

How to care for your merino at home?
- Wash on a wool or gentle cycle, usually at 40°C. If your machine doesn't have a wool setting, use the delicate cycle.
- Use a mild, wool-friendly laundry agent that's free from harsh chemicals. The delicate wool fabric can be damaged and break down if a regular (non wool specific) detergent us used.
- Flat dry after washing. Only tumble dry if your machine is wool mark-approved.
- To store, use Cedar balls in an air tight container, away from sunlight, to protect against moths.
